Me I 27 Analytical/Kant/Menne: for Kant the analytical judgment is so narrow that most of the mathematics and logic already falls in the area of synthetic judgment. --- Sainsbury IV 271 Analytic/synthetic: mistake: There are invalid arguments whose premises are analytical, but their conclusion is synthetic. E.g. "Whatever will be, will be." The wrong conclusion is drawn that the future is preordained! (> Determinism). E.g. "business is business": from this the synthetic judgment is concluded that business was not moral.
